i know, but if I mount back further, the barrel will block a good chunk of the screen... and then I tried the helmet mounting, wobbled too much and it was kinda heavy.I used the velcro strap it came with, just wrapped it tight! Hmmm... difficult to find a good spot |

hmmm, yeah, that's a tough one. On second thought - if you're velcro-ed on - it might just be the "play" in the velcro. If you notice in the video, once your picture "stabilizes" from the shot - it appears you actually have very little recoil in your marker. I think my first guess is wrong... I think it is less about WHERE it is mounted but more HOW it is mounted... I think the velcro still allows enough play to shake on each "shock" from the shot, especially when you think that the weight of the camera causes the velcro to twist - rather than pulling against the hook-and-loop fasteners laterally where it would be the strongest and most stable. My $.02 anyway. Hope that helps. |

| Re: Action Cam on your A5 Probably the best thing you could do to minimise both the camera shake and the loudness of the shots firing, would be to buy a small amount of thin (say 5 to 10mm) foam rubber material and wrap a layer or two of that around the camera before securing it with velcro. The extra padding will act like a shock absorber so the recoil of the gun won't be so noticeable, and will also absorb some of the PING when a shot is fired.
