Sight Riser for a Red Dot?

Hey gang,
Any idea where I can get a sight riser for my A5 for a red dot? I looked on Spec. Ops. and I dunno if I'm overlooking it or what but I cant seem to find one anywhere. Help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

what kind are you looking for?

Carry handle style, block style,?

what type of attachment?

3/8ths" to Picatinny, Picatinny to picatinny, or 3/8ths" to 3/8ths?


what type of mount does the sight have? and what type of mounts are on the gun? (assuming an A-5 but You didn't say)

Hey, sorry for the loss of info.

I do have a Tippman A-5 and the sight I would like is just a cheapo for looks mostly since it will more than likely be shot.

I would like a block style

I talked to a guy from Spec Ops when I called in and asked about the sight and he said it just mounts right on the gun rails that are stock.

He said a 3/8" dovetail rail (also known as a .22 or rimfire rail) is already on the A-5

That ADCO IMP sight you linked to will fit directly onto the A-5's Dovetail rail if you don't need a riser. If you looking for mask clearance then you will want a riser. Here are some different risers: MilSim Products - Mounts & Rails

ok, so you need a 3/8th to 3/8th riser.


I recommend THIS one:
BT Fixed Sight Rail

this will get you enough rise to use the sight with a mask on if you intend to use a stock.

if you don't intend to use a stock - forget the sight riser rail. install your sight directly to the 3/8ths rail on the A-5 and remove the stock iron sights from the gun..
