Re: trigger decision

depends on what you want.... if you want a walkable trigger then you want a rythm innovation magnetic trigger with the APE rampage board. the RT trigger in my book is under rated. it works in all weather and kicks some seriuos butt! the etrigger is touchy in the rain, the rt keeps on shootin'. the etrigger as said above can hang as long as you can feed it.

Re: trigger decision

Welcome to the Board!

I LOVE my RT. For me not having to use batteries is key.

Same here! I love being able to just turn a screw to tune my ROF and not have to worry about fresh batteries.

Re: trigger decision

once you master the sweet spot is it hard to get to? sorry if that doesn't make any sense.
For instance, in a speedball game would it be hard to attain the sweet spot quickly and on demand?

Re: trigger decision

Hey I know I'm kind of new here too, but honestly it's a while to find the "sweet spot". Like you have to play with it and adjust the screw (you'll see what i'm talking about when you see the setup) until you finally get that sweet spot. I was unsure about which to get so I went with RT but now I'm going for the eGrip x7 style.
Don't get me wrong the RT has it's advantages, i mean you can use it underwater for crying out loud(youtube)! But on my last game when I needed fire power I had to wait until the RT was ready to spray . I like knowing that it's gonna give me what I need when I need.
About batteries... I guess it sucks buy batteries but you can't have it all...
The reason I'm going to the eGrip was that it came out in the x7 style which you can switch by flipping a switch .... (i think). Good luck man welcome aboard!

Re: trigger decision

I love my Super R/T. I tried an E-grip for about 2 weeks, and then switched back.

It did take some tuning to get it just the way I like it, but now that I have it set - it will rain down paint! It is virtually indestructable and basically maintenance free.

Plus, no batteries!
