A5 to X7 and vice versa
Not sure if anyone has made this question before but I can't find it so...


What X7 parts can be used on an A5 without modifications?

I know the barrels are threaded the same and some shrouds may work on both, but how about stocks, magwells, etc..?

The stocks seem to have the same base in pictures at some degree, but the holes seem to be farther apart on an X7, also I am trying to see if I can use an X7 magwell to cover the tombstone of my expansion chamber, not to mention that there are some X7 parts that are cheaper than their A5 counterparts.

The endcaps for the rear is different in both dimensions and the pushpin holes are located in different spots.

With minimal modification the standard shrouds for the X7 will fit an A5.

The egrip can also be retrofitted with modification.

I wonder if you can retrofit the stock grip...

To retrofit stock grip, its the same method as with the egrip.

But he did mention parts that do not need modification.

Tombstone is different... i wanted to add a macroline to my X7, but the connection is NOT standard to any fittings I can find
