Egrip with CO2?

Long time reader, first time writer...jk. This is my first post though. I appreciate all the good info.

Question: Does anybody run egrip off of co2 in full auto, turbo, etc... Does it work and how well? What setup do you use to make it better?

There really is no good place to get HPA around my house. Thanks in advance.

Re: Egrip with CO2?

Yep it will work. You'll get shoot down and marker freeze, but it won't hurt anything. Best thing to do is anti-siphen the co2 tank, and a palmer's reg.

anti-siphon will make a heck of a difference even without using the egrip. Your less likely to suck in liquid which can cause major fluxuations in your velocity. Get your tank setup even if you dont get the egrip you'll like it.

Re: Egrip with CO2?

controlled bursts @ 15 - 17 balls per second on CO2 are possible for an entire day of paintball. I'll go through 2 - 3 20 oz. CO2 tanks in 6 hours of play with some sweat on my A-5 and a little freeze on the cyclone hose but have never had my marker fail because of using CO2. It really takes alot to freeze an A5 from my experience. I use a palmer pursuit regulator as well.

and that makes all the difference. without that i bet you would have more problems. not just with shoot down and freezing, but overall consistancy.

Re: Egrip with CO2?

I run an anti-syphon tank as well and a cheap reg...Palmer's stab in the future...and I don't have problems when I'm shooting full auto. I ran into trouble once but the air temperature was only 7 degrees celcius.
