To get an a5 shooting as smooth as an SP1 for example? Here's the thing, I run a proteam intruder straight to the tombstone and love it. Is there a tank so consistant that a secondary reg wouldn't be necessary?

In my opinion I don't think an A-5 will shoot as "smooth." Mostly due to the way the gun works. But that's partly why I love my A-5. Any quality bottle reg will work awesome. Stabs and other gun regs are really for those of us who use CO2.

To be more specific, try a Guerilla Air Myth (with High Pressure Spring Installed) or a Crossfire tank. Those two tank regulators have a higher recharge rate and will be more consistent.
