Drooool... sweet q-loader setup. I'd love to get my hands on one, but its just too damn pricey.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

I have been seriously considering this mod. I want to do a Q loader with sniper mod so that I can remove the the cyclone and the hoses all together. My question to you all is this worth it and do you members that have already made the change have any remorse or regret? A second thing is what are the sniper mod parts made of? aluminuim? If so do you think that they can be tig welded to provide the proper strength? is it hard to find pod pouches to hold the pods on a mole system? and is buying extra pods worth it?

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

How sturdy is that setup? will it fall off when sliding into a bunker or does it take alot of damage. I want to get one too but I'm not too sure on the mount.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

I didn't have any issues with that kind of setup and used it all season last year.

HOwever, You will need to build a brace like the one in the last few pictures, otherwise the epoxy won't hold through the abuse of a day of paintball.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

he is right about the epoxy not holding up. In my experience it very strong BUT also brittle. All the ruinning around and jumping etc. causes vibrations. The other thing is that since the metal in a non porous surface the epoxy isnt penetrating it before it hardens. The stuff is sitting on the surface of the metal as it hardens; not a strong bond.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

the only setup I;ve seen with the Q that I like is their SSI marker. The Loader sits under the barrel and directly feeds into the breech. And it uses A5 and 98 Parts !!!

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

Does the epoxy hold the elbow and the elbow hold the tube? It doesn't sound too durable.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

so has there been no sound problem to fix it from falling off or did i just not see it? i run alot, thats how i tripped and spraained my wrist last weekend, so point being if im running full speed and i step in a pot hole (like last time) and fall on my face is my q-loader going to go flying off?
