Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

If you want the Qloader to stay in place, you will have to brace it using an L-shaped bracket as such:

These are readily available at Lowe's or any other hardware store. Bring your Qloader mount to find the right size.

Don't buy one of these unless you reinforce it in the same manner listed a few posts above this one.

The part that mounts directly to the marker, unless they changed it RECENTLY is basically made out of tinfoil and the hops and dreams of small children.

It will break for sure. The replacement they send you will break as well. Great idea made out of laughable materials.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

Sadly, RAP4 no longer sells the kit - AIC has undergone restructuring in the past year and no longer offers certain parts of the direct feed kit, namely that big block with the small rail on top. Also, there were words of new parts made out of cheaper material. Because of this, AIC has lost a lot of faithful customers, including yours truly.

Still, I'm postivite there is still a way to install a mounting kit on the A5, with a bit of creativity.

Re: RAP4 Q-Loader sniper mount: a how-to guide

Oh, my Qloaded A5 is long gone. Sold it back in December 2006 to fund my Automag Tac-One purchase.

I am right there with you on both products. qloader sells a weaver adapter that I forgot to mention. A person would need a rail to mount it on, but it seems to be a better option. qloader started to sell that adapter after I had already purchased qloader and sniper mount, then sold both.
