Re: Winter Slump? I play in the winter... I just have a home made heating box that keeps the tanks warm... Then i throw them back in between every round... when im playing i wrap the tanks in hand warmers(dno if it does anything) and i have them in a backpack.

Re: Winter Slump? When I played the last blast at my local field the tempuratures had gotten down into the 20s and 30s. They had three or four metal tubs that the put at the edge of the fire pit. the fire warmed the water to about hot shower heat and players were instructed to dip their co2 tanks in the water, which warmed them up enough that they didn't freeze between games. It didn't seem very safe to me because you could see the water steeming, but I stuck my hand in and it actually wasn't too hot. It seems like even that little bit may spike the velocity though.

Re: Winter Slump? Interesting CO2 remedies! I dont think your supposed to put hand warmers on your tanks but in the winter I can't see the harm. They're already low pressure from the temp. Lowest temp I enjoy playing in is 40 degrees so I usually dont run into marker problems. Colder than that I just stay indoors playing computer games or something! LOL I like reading war books too, just got sniper on the eastern front, should be a good one!
