No. You would need a secondary staage to pump up to 3000+ pounds. BTW, when you say 20 oz tank, I hope you're not referring to a 20 oz CO2 tank. That's not apples to apples & oranges to oranges. HPA is different than CO2.

Re: Can air compressors fill tanks???

He's correct and, actually, a 20oz tank would be for CO2 which is filled by weight, not pressure.

But, the bottom line is no. A 200psi compressor would only fill to 200psi, way below the operating pressure of our markers.

Re: Can air compressors fill tanks???

Not to insult your intelligence by any means but make sure you know what you're doing if you start filling tanks. co2=chemical burns, HPA=missle/explosive(NEVER PUT OIL IN AN HPA TANK/VALVE)

Scuba's are the way to go. Any basic 3k psi scuba tank will work. All you need is a fill station that can be had at any big pb online retailer(action village, SO, etc.)

Depending on how many players will be using the scubas to fill off of, you may want to consider getting a group to buy several.

First, do you only have CO2 tanks or do you actually have a HPA (High Pressure Air) tank?

You can buy a scuba tank and get it filled for a few dollars at a scuba shop or maybe a fire hall. Then if you have the right adapter you can use it to refill your HPA tank a few times.

And HPA compressors are a few thousand dollars. Most fields will fill your tank all day for free.
