I made my paint grenade filling tank out of an oxygen tank. We had alot of them at work. I work in home health. I had set one aside at work that I knew was empty. The next day I took it home. To turn it into a grenade filling tank I had to drill some holes in it.

So there I am drilling a hole in the bottom of it when WHOOOOOSH !!!! It was FULL!! Someone had rearranged the tanks after I had picked out an empty one so I ended up taking a full one home.

It's a miracle that thing didn't blow the whole back of my house off killing me in the process.

First day i had my A-5 i shot it a few times, took it apart and reassembled it and then decided to shoot it some more to make sure i had put it back together right. Well, i had my remote connected to my tombstone and i had forgot to put the push-pin in that holds the tombstone. Needless to say after about 3 shots it blew out and starting wipping all over the place while i frantically tried to take off my pack and turn off the air. I then had to take it all back apart where i learned the hard way, washer then oring... It would have been much simpler had i known that there was a washer from the start, after about 20 min of fooling around with my gun i found an exploded view of the valve assembly, then had to go search outside to find the washer... Not the best experience, but i ended up disassembling and reassembling my marker about 10 times that day. I can now do it in about 5 min.

Well I ordered a metal powertube from another operator and was so excited to hear what it sounded like I hurriedly threw it in my A5. That weekend I went to play and WHHHHOOOOSSSSSHHHH my gun looked like a dragon spewing smoke. Suddenly I realized I hadent swapped the guts out of my old stock PT. Felt like the biggest idiot in the world......I guess what they say is true.....No guts no glory.

The game had just ended, and I thought my E-Grip was turned off. When I slung the marker over my arm to get my condom out, I activated the trigger (which is pretty sensitive), and fired off several rounds on a guy that was about 30 feet away and was reaching to take his mask off. Neither of us was too happy with me.

OK Guys I have a good one for you, This past weekend I got to attend Giang Big Game at Splat Tag in Hudson, WI This event is a semi only 12bps cap. I had been switching back and forth between my GTA e-grip, and r/t depending on the situation for the time, but I couldnt decide if I wanted to set my r/t for 12bps, or shoot semi with my e-grip. I first decided to go with an r/t because I couldnt find a double trigger, but while assembling the r/t I found a double trigger that I had modded back in the day. I wanted to see how it walked, so I tosses my e-grip panels back in (note: I use the same trigger assembly with different sears, and triggers. so I have to switch all the components out between shifts.) and I powered the e-grip and I walked the trigger in semi auto. I found I could walk it pretty well, but I also added a set screw to shorten travel and I was walking about 10 bps. I brought my "e-gripped marker" to The huge event, and it sorked fine at first. I got a few elims, and taken out twice. Then the issues started. My solenoid would mis fare "just slick" instead of shooting, I had to cock and fire at the same tim to start the motion. I missed a lot of elimenations because of my "failing solenoid", but I was managing to keep my KD positive, so I desided to keep playing instead of changing triggers. Then I tried to bunker an opposing player, and when I began to rush the, click, click, click, click,clik,click.. I got elimenated. That made me decide to change over to my r/t. When I oppeoed my trigger assembly up, I found that I had left a STOCK/r/t SEAR in my marker with the e-grip which had caused all these issues.

I decided to switch to an r/t anyways for fun. I was so exausted from the game I put the stock sear and trigger back in the assembly, and put my grip on my marker. cocked it, and told my group we can get back out there now. Oneshotkiller laughed at me because I didn't have any of the r/t lives hooked up to the marker, so I had effectively made my marker a stock mech grip... They all laughed at me, but I used the stock trigger anyways.

It may not seem like much of a doh, but for as much time I spend on here, I should be able to get that together right.

On the bright side I still owned with a mech trigger for the last half hour.

My recent "DOH!" was at Mad Ivans Sicily '43 scenario last April. Early on just about our whole team had been flanked and pretty much wiped out. So on our way back from the res point, my friend and I decided to get some payback and counter flank the other team by going straight through some pretty thick brush.

Anyway we get just inside the brush and I spot two OPFOR just a little ways in. I line up the shot and click, click...doh, I had forgotten was that when I was in the res point cleaning up, I had unhooked my remote (pro-connect III, which I luv btw). Then I pulled my pistol and realized that I had left the barrel sock on!

Lucky for me, my buddy was ready and nailed both of them, the funny part was after they called out, I was plugging my remote in and it slipped and made a loud loud hissing sound, both the guys that my buddy had just taken out started yelling! We're out man! All I could say was "okay!" like I had done anything. heh

Well, I didn't do anything too dumb, except overreact to something dumb. My friends were playing outlaw in the woods, finished a game and called for barrel sleeves. My girlfriend and I were walking back to the house when a couple of others that had shown up late started taking pot shots at us from 200+ feet, with both of our masks off.... I screamed safe and they kept shooting, so I put my mask on and walked towards them. They thought it was very funny how upset I was until I let a full hopper run through my APE board from about 20 feet away and painted them both orange..

I was recovering from surgery after breaking my arm, so i'm going stir crazy in the house because I cant do anything! No gaming, no shooting, no offroading. It all requires two hands!!

Anyways, I bought an airsoft pistol to screw around with since it was so easy to cock with one hand. So I loaded it up and was looking around the house for something to shoot. (I had no idea how hard these things shot) So the cat walks by, presenting me with a beautiful broadside shot! So I'm aiming at him, about to pull the trigger when i reconcider because I didnt want to hurt the little booger. So I do the next sensible thing. I shoot the gun right into the meat of my calf! For a minute there, I actually forgot about my broken arm because my calf was howling in PAIN!!

I was just glad I didnt shoot the cat!
