Here's a few more safety rules I would add:

--NEVER GO ON TO THE FIELD WITOHOUT A BUDDY-CHECK.

Even if it's a total stranger, ALWAYS have someone check you for safety equipment (barrel cover/sock, goggs, towel to wipe a gogg hit so you can see...etc..) and things like loose tiedowns, kinks in a strap and such. These types of things can hurt you (or be thecause) just as much as "the usual suspects".

--A PAINTBALL DOESN'T CARE WHAT'S IN FRONT OF IT.

That could be a tree, a bunker...or you. And by the way, at 280 ft/sec (avg chrono limit for daytime play at most fields), that's 180 miles/hr (figure 60 mph = 90 ft/sec).

There's a pin and some fins inside of it that shred the paintballs. The paint exits as a spray, but the paintball itself is destroyed.

I don't know if you want to add this or not, but I like to spread this one as much as possible:

Bugspray should be applied as far away from masks as possible, this means puting your mask down and walking away from it, not just spraying around it. Bugspray contains chemicals that disentigrate plastics, if you get any bugspray, especially bugspray with a high DEET content, it will weaken your lense.

War Stories!
Injuries/Wounds/Nicks: Anything of physiological interest

If there are several people not following the safety rules- you need to decide if you should be playing with them. If it's not safe - Just don't play. It can suck but it is you and your friends health.
