My side kick bough a Flex 8 Head Shield a couple months ago. I ended up buying a used mask off one of the guys at the field for him and then gave him my old Flat Line barrel in for his Head Shield.

First time I tryed this mask was Saturday night for our Night of the Living Dead Game. I of course was a Zombie, and of course only head shots would kill us. All I have to say is thank God for the Flex 8 Head Shield.

I took probally 20 + rounds to the head, all but two at close range. Very close range. Less than three feet most of them. Even at 250 fps, they would have sucked if I hadnt been using this mask. I knew going in, that if I got eliminated, they would be close range shots. And the Flex did great.

Had a slight fogging problem, but it was after I had been in the field for a good while and normally after running or so. I took two different shots to the mouth, at a range of 1 to 2 feet, and they both hurt a bit. The paintball coming through the vents still has some force behind it, even if it is only the paint. And it taste like crap.

Anyway, if you guys ever do a Zombie game, or Predator game with head shots only, get one of these mask. They are top notch. I faired way better then the rest of the Zombies.

We just sorta went to this as our suggested mask for our team, the camo one that is. But my friend had bought it like a week before they did that.

I'll NEVER buy a JT mask again. Full head shield or not.

However the Zombie thing sounded cool.

Was for me. Some Zombie hunters got carried away. One squad opened up on our field managers head with 15 rounds from six feet or so. And one team member got barrel tagged in the head, and the guy decided to pull the trigger five times while his barrel was touching the back on his head... One other team member was rushing a base, fell over another team member and broke two of his ribs.

It was fun, but we basicly got the heck beat out of us. I think I was the only one with a head shield of the original Zombies. That surprised me. Still getting shot in the mouth at point blank range hurt, and one round slipped in between the helmet part of my mask in the back and left a welt.

Sixx, Whatcha got against JT??? Just curious?

I have one too and oh yeah it's great....mine started to fog up late in the day,but not too bad,one of the guys had a fan for my mask & it works great.it's definatley a keeper.

I may have to look into a fan for it. Mine didnt fog much, just when I was huffing and puffing pretty good.

ive had a head shield for about 2 months,and is easily the best mask i have used,i find that you dont sweat as much as if you had a cap or bandana

I do a lot of belly-crawling up to enemy fortifications, and when my position gets blown I get shot on the top of the head a lot. Bought the camo Flex8 Headshield for daytime and am loving it. Bought a black Elite Headshield for night games (mounted my NVG to it) and it would be fine except the goggle foam on those is horrible.
