My little project is finished!!!!What do you think?

I spent practically an entire day working on this mask. It's one of my first customizations ever! I've never done any types of projects with paintball before this. Please reply on how it came out so I could see what to do better next time, thanks!

Re: My little project is finished!!!!What do you think?

I used an ACU DIGI CAMO BANDANA, Mod Podge(its a liquid glue that you can get at your local rag shop), 3m #77 Adhesive spray(got it at ace), and my mask. I'll list the directions if you want.

Wow! I love it! One of your first customizations you say? I definitely want to see the results of your future projects, as they undoubtably will look just as good if not better!

This may very well be my next project...just have to decide what my primary camo pattern will be.

It works with any type of digi or pattern.
Here are the instructions, by Silentflash

I had thought about doing this, but I had no idea on how to go about it. The credit goes to Hellspawn from specops and Worr Monger for the original creation of this tutorial. I merely did the project on my own and figured out some changes that would make the project easier that weren't mentioned in other instructions. Here is my own way on how to customize any mask.

Supplies:
Any mask
Any bandana of your choice- $2
Mod Podge- $5.99(You can get it at a rag shop or Michael's)
3M #77 Adhesive spray- $12.99(My local ace didn't offer smaller sizes)
1 Foam Brush- $0.18
Sand Paper-$1.99
Sharp object-(Knife or anything that will cut)
Scizzors-
Marker-

MAKE SURE TO CLEAN YOUR MASK COMPLETELY WITH A SOLVENT SUCH AS ALCOHOL BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!ALSO MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA A.K.A. OUSTISIDE!

STEP 1- Take off your mask's lens and the straps.

STEP 2- Cut pieces off your bandana to match the mask's shape. Note this is easier said than done. Try to outline the mask's edges, while the bandana is pressed against the mask, with a marker to make sure where your cutting. Always cut off more than you need so you can bend the bandana around the edges. Try to only cut off two main parts of the bandana. For example, I cut off one big piece for the bottom part of the mask, and one big piece for the top of the mask so that the patterns would look more like one piece. If you need to you can cut off extra pieces to cover up certain areas.

STEP 3- Okay, now we have our pieces but we still need to lay them on the mask! First spray the area on the mask where you're going to lay down the bandana with the 3M #77 Spray(I recommend doing the bottom piece first.) Then do the same to the back side of the bandana. Make sure to spray heavy coats and wait a minute, or two.

STEP 4- Here comes the tricky part! Try to align the edges of your bandana with the edges of the mask. Slowly put the bandana piece onto the mask so that you make sure you get the least amount of creases. You will have some creases but to get the least amount possible lay the piece on slowly and evenly. Make sure not to lay the whole piece down at once onto the mask because this will result in many creases, lay it down from one side and work your way to the other. Dont' worry if your bandana dosen't fit perfectly with the shape of your mask, you can cut off extra pieces later.

STEP 5- Alright, now you have the bottom piece on, so make sure it is stuck good and that the bandana is bent around the edges.

STEP 6- Now with a sharp object cut the ventilation holes through the fabric as best as possible. Don't forget to cut the holes for your lens!

STEP 7- Repeat steps 3-6 to top part of the mask.

STEP 8- Now that you have your mask completely covered, you will want to cut off extra cloth that's in areas you don't want. Your mask is now covered but we are not done yet! This is where the mod podge comes in handy! Take the foam brush and apply the mod podge evenly and lightly throughout any areas on the mask that have fabric on them. MAKE SURE TO PUT LIGHT COATS ON! After you put a coat of the mod podge on, wait 10 to 12 minutes and put on anothet coat. You must put at least 6 coats of the mod podge with 10- 12 minutes of drying in between each.

STEP 9- Now that your mask is completely finished, you can sand down edges and re-cut the ventilation holes again(due to the mod podge.)You can spray any type of design you want and cover it with mod podge in order to put it on your mask. Let the mask sit for at least 12 hours before using it in an actual game. But other than that you can show off your new mask! Now you are done! You can put the strap and lens back on your mask. Note that it may be harder to put on the lens due to extra mod podge. So just sand it down a little bit, so the lens can enter easier!

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
