Yes sir it is Hydro Imaging. And yes, it is TONS easier than hand painting. However, there is a primer, base coat of paint that is sprayed on, the pattern is "dipped" on, then 2 clear coats get sprayed on. The adhesion promoters that we are using are working out well and are taking a lot of flex. Not like the standard rattle cans or airbrush paints.

We are, however, calling it a paint job because in order to remove it, you need to sand it like paint.

The Hydro imaging? We don't have a website as of yet, but you can find all the info RIGHT HERE

I understand. I just missed it the first time it was posted.

I have another rattle can paint job here to do for a customer, and the way you do it is MUCH easier, even with a primer coat and then the clear on top. And considering the time and effort involved it is THE way to go IMHO. While my paint jobs may be unique to each mask and can be "weighted" one color or another (folks get either an equal mix, heavy on green, heavy on brown, or heavy on tan) so that they best match their actual playing environment, the work and time involved is just not cost effective for me.... I don't think I will be doing any more of these. It has just become too much work (and room for error) for the price I charge.

I may have to just shoot folks off in your direction.

Re: Should I paint my mask?

Well, I appreciate it and fully understand. That is kind of the same reason we started exploring other avenues. The stuff we were doing (at the time time on autos) was just not time/cost effective.

Re: Should I paint my mask?

Don't do it man. It looks just fine the way it is. The camo would look cool but it won't help you on the field. Your mask already matches your camo. The enemy will either see you or not. The camo mask won't help at all.

Leave it. It works fine with what you wear, and it doesn't stand out. You're fine.

Re: Should I paint my mask?

Thanks, REDWOLF and Vin. Nchittendon's offer is awesome, but I have decided to keep it unpainted. Gotta have some sort of contrast to the whole look, eh?

I do have a Multicam Ban-du on order with Shartley. I can't wait for it to be made! I am going to take another pic with my whole set up once I get it since I have added a few things since my last "action figure" photo shoot.

BTW, you guys (everyone!) are awesome for the comments!
