Yellow Vs Amber Lens

I was looking around JT's website for a new lens and saw Amber and Yellow lens.

Many people talk about these lens as if they are the same but the amber seems to have more of an orangish tint to it. Also almost every store I go to stores the yellow lens and again in the field I have only seen 1 or 2 true amber lens with the rest being yellow.

Can anyone tell me the difference.

Does the amber lens allow for more contrast because it has more of an orange tint? Yellow is primarily listed as good for hazy days because it blocks blues but from what I know Amber does the same.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
