| Re: MICH + Riot Shield = Paintball Ready? I've thought about this for a while now, because there is zero for milsim masks on the market. There are some that are camo, and whatnot, and some that have helmets (bad b/c of increased breaks instead of ricochets), but this would solve that issue, and the idea is as follows: An israeli gas mask type mask would be freaking sweet. 360 coverage, with like foam padding on the rubber parts of the mask to absorb ball impact. Then, use thermal lenses for the eyepieces. A hollowed "dummy" nbd cartridge would be fine, and allow better airflow. I'd own one, the intimidation factor would be incredible. Of this thread, this would be the most feasible idea.... i'll post a picAttachment 1574 but with the rubber extended so that you have ear coverage, and some top of the head coverage. Now that's what I'm talking about! You won't find any flaws with this design, implemented in the way that i've mentioned above. Sooooooo, someone get to work on it! If anyone makes this, PLEASE REMEMBER YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST!!!! BECAUSE I WANT ONE!!!!!!! *Hint hint, nudge nudge*

| Re: MICH + Riot Shield = Paintball Ready? wow, give merc a break, its just an idea! Nobody has done anything more than speculate! I think if you could seal off the outer sides of the mask, send off a prototype to vforce. At least no more worrying about peripheral vision! |

| Re: MICH + Riot Shield = Paintball Ready? What are ram masks (like the one pictured) rated at? They might be suitable for wear under that riot helmet. I know the ram guys wear balaclava and those goggles. So they must be rated to at least 250 fps. Ill try and find out |
