Pics of my mask fan mod.

Heres some pics of my take on the fan mod. I know my fans not in the best place if It get shot and breaks ill get another one and place it in a better spot. Took me about 20 mins to do and it works really well. It has a on/off switch on the side of the mask kinda hard to see in the pics.

Re: Pics of my mask fan mod.

Looks very, very clean. Good job. Just make sure there is no exposed wire or one time when your belly crawling you could get a nice shock. Not too likely though. Now, do you keep the fan on at all times, or just to clear your lens when needed?

Re: Pics of my mask fan mod.

I'm pretty sure a 9v cant shock ya. I remember when I was younger if you put your tongue on the two prongs its kinda like chewing on aluminum foil with fillings except on your tongue LoL. I just did it the other night so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. But ill probably just turn it on to clear the fog. I Left it on, on accident all night and noticed it before I went to work when I picked it up to put it away battery still seems pretty good tho. So I could just let it run the whole time if I wanted to.

Re: Pics of my mask fan mod.

Nicely done.

That's a pretty small fan. It'll be interesting to see how effective it is.

Let us know how it goes.

Yeah but like I stated in my orignal post it moves 1.6 cfm so it changes out the air in the mask really fast. But ill let you guys know if it works good when I put it to the test in a game.

Re: Pics of my mask fan mod.

Wow, this is almost the exact same thing I'm about to do. I have a fan thats almost the exact same size as that. I pried it off of an old heat sync i found in my basement. I think I'm going to bolt it onto my visor, and cut off the middle support for it, and screw it onto there. I have a JT Nvader or Enforcer or something, but i have a V-force Profiler coming in the mail that i might port it over to. I just need it done for Saturday.

Very nice job though. Ill post pics of mine when i finish it tomorrow.
