Re: new mask

I have a set of V-Force Profilers, which I love.

The thing is, especially once you get into higher end masks - they're all safe, and they all have decent anti-fog abilities. It's about what you like the feel of, more than anything else.

I'd suggest you go to your local store and try some on - see what feels right for you.

Things to pay attention to include: fit; comfort; peripheral vision; hearing interference; and coverage (especially of your ears and jawline).

Re: new mask

Profilers or Grills. Both comfortable and neither have fogged on me. Or if you want a cheaper but good alternative a set of Avatars I hear are good. Havn't tried em personally but I hear good things.

Re: new mask

Clumsy, I agree with VVulfe the things to consider and will add ease of disassembly/lense swapping to the list. Recently I tried a teammate's mask, a nice one, and found it's made to fit a different face than mine - No matter what, it just slid down, scrunched my nose, was basically uncomfortable.

I have an E-vent mask and am very happy with it. When using the thermal lenses it has never fogged, even in Florida's hot and humid climate. The single lense is the opposite, for me it fogs easily, even on cooler days. Taking it apart for cleaning or swapping lenses is very easy.

Re: new mask

i've got the e-vent cyclus, imo they are top notch, i'm a heavy sweater/breather, yet they never fog. and there $30. what more can you ask for. i also have the flex 8, again very good mask, the flex 8 is a little heaver, and the spectra Len's , are alot harder to get off and clean than the e-vents twist locks. you will hear good stuff about the profilers, but mine had some major fog issues.

I have JT Spectra fits my fat head and won't fog even against an open Dishwasher if you know what I mean and they are only like $39.

I use the V-Force Grill-It's such an awesome mask!

-Quick change foam system-takes 30 secs to replace
I have 5 lenses for it..Clear,Yellow,mirrored Silver,mirrored Gold,mirrored Blue
I have 2 extra foam systems(plus the original with mask)
**has not fogged up once**
