HOW DO YOU GET THE LENS OFF?

i bought it used and it had no instructions, and i don't what to break it.. help me.

all you do is remove the strap clips, then take the side plastic clips on the outside off, they should pop right out with some luck, then press the lense in and it will pop out.....help?
