Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

DLX I just bought one of the smoke to clear gradient lenses, and I love it, I can almost see clearer in the woods, because of glare reduction.....

I know of 2 amber lenses in my group, and they're cool but they almost hurt my eyes.

I was testing shooting glasses out the other day, and I do gotta yellow is a better color then amber. Its easier on the eyes, and I found that i can pick colors out nicely with em on.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I have the I3 pros and they come with amber HD lenses. The amber is actually heaiver on top and fades into a very light amber on the bottom. I like the yellow-ish/amber colors since I feel like I see more detail of the field than standard clear lense.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I prefer to switch off between lenses during the day as the weather or condition of the lenses changes, I use clear, amber and dark lenses, amber I find is best for lower light/overcast situations as it provides highlight to shaded areas

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I'm going with smoke, as I've just tinted my clear lense

I currently have a Clear [came with mask]
Amber [those sunny open air days]

Looking to pick up a Smoke lens later on in the season for those days in the woods [when they get them in stock]

* I voted smoke because thats my standard lens type

I like the mirrored lenses also...they make great targets, hehe

smoke is cool because it's easy to see thru and looks black to others in the woods...

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

Well so far i have a clear and yellow on my proto mask. I dont use the yellow because people tell me they can see me a mile away. Since i play in the woods or something similar to it, the color sticks out. I will be trying soon the smoke color and metallic since i read that it reflects the sorrunding, making it more camouflage. Makes sense anyways.
