really? I have no problem

I do admit when playing late night dusk or night i play with a clear lens no skin.

I played a few games the other day and the last one was after the sun set. It was really dark in the woods. I have a smoke fade to clear lens, I could could see well enough to continue to play, but it was hard. My teamate wore an amber lense. We played against 2 guys using clear lenses. We snuck into position on the opfor and prepared for an ambush. As soon as we got ready the opposing kids said they couldnt see good enough to play and walked off......... sorry I had to say it the dusk play talk sparked my memory...

Balu, how does that skin work in the rain?? I heard that they accumulate the moisture, prety much blinding you. Is this true?

I just starting using the gold chrome mirror ones for one of my profilers... I really do like it... but it's really only good on a really bright day! Other than that I use the amber one in the woods and all!

I'd posted earlier that i got a new yellow tinted lens but had yet to use it.I've now played twice with it in vasty different conditions and i have to say i LOVE it.

The first time it was pretty foggy - I was happy with how the lenses performed, until i took them off. When i realised how gloomy and flat everything looked without the yellow tint i was absolutely sold. It made all the difference to me.

I played again on a sunny day - our regular field is under the canopy so alot of the direct sunlight is stopped by the branches. Anyways, the way the yellow tint made everything pop was brilliant - i was honestly suprised at what a difference it made. I've only ever played with clear lenses since i started paintballing, but now i doubt i could go back given the choice. Amber tint might work OK too, but the yellow has this weird way of boosting the contrast without making the natural forest colors all wacky. I seriously dig it.

Just thought i'd pass that on incase anyone is on the fence over one.

you didn't cover my choice and thats photochromatic (changes based on the light conditions)
