Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

Right now I am using clear lenses but the next pair I buy will be amber, they really do bring out the colors better in the woods which make it easy to spot some one.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I personally use the "Smoke" Lens. I have no problems distinguishing players in the woods and it compliments my all black gear setup. I do want to try using an amber lens as well though.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I've tried the faded lens and prefer a solid color. The solid yellow works well in all types of light conditions.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

i use mirror for really sunny days, smoke for overcast days, and the clear for night ops. the vforce profiler has the perfect curvature to facilitate my NVG's.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I'm waiting for the new Vforce mask/helmet to be released. If they do a smoke lense for that, that's what I'll go with. If not, I will probably go clear.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I have both the clear and smoke lenses for my Proto Switch EL. It came with the clear, but after one game trying to get comfortable with wearing my sunglasses underneath it, I gave up and got the smoke lens. It's always sunny when I play (desert at high altitude), and I hate squinting, so the smoke lens works out well for me.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I use a Spectra yellow to clear gradient. It gives good contrast with the yellow for lower lighting.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

Regarding the amber lens, I know it makes the enemy stand out more, but does it make YOU stand out more. Say, if youre in a bush, and if you were trying to let opponents approach you without being detected?
