| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. Smoke - but I play on open fields a lot of the time vs. under a canopy.

| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. The Red Dot wouldn't be filtered by the amber lense. YOu can still see reds just fine but blues and greens will be shifted to greys.

| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. Currently have a yellow. I'll be getting a yellow/amber lens for whatever mask I get next. I do have a question for those who use camo skins on your lens (I'll stop rhyming, i promise). Does it effect your vision at all? I'd love to have a yellow lense with the digital woodland print but if it distorts it at all, i think it'd effect my game too much. *Edit* I also love the contrast of the yellow lens with the black mask. Here's it on my painted Proteus. Oh and yeah, I know it was a crappy paint job, but it held up for a few games, heh. ![]() Last edited by WorrMonger : 01-08-2007 at 04:26 PM. |

I've heard it's a little like looking thru a screen door...but I don't own one, so I'll defer to those who do. |

| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. On my profilers I use amber during most day-time play. If its particular bright out I'll use smoke. I have a clear lense on my night time goggles, some vforce armors with my night vision mount on them. |

| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. In regards to the camo lens covers. I went to a small store today to look at masks for my girlfriend and he was telling her about the lens covers and I was inquiring if he had heard any complaints. He said they're great in the fact that they cover your visable eyes, tint your lenses and are a great glare-free alternative to visors... BUT if you get hit in the goggles, you can't just wipe the paint off since the paint fills into the little pores and wiping will just cause it to fill into more pores. Also, if it's lightly misting out, you'll have the same problem. Just something I had never thought about when contemplating getting those. Oh and picked up some yellow tint for my new FX10 Axiom. |

| Re: Lens color you use in your mask. I normaly wear clear single pane lens. I also have a dual pane smoke lens. Today while playing in the rain my clear lens was fogging up as soon as I put it on so i had to use my smoke ones.....not to good for really overcast and raining...hovever much better then clear covered in fog ![]()
