Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I had posted elsewhere with no avail and shall try here to see if anyone knows. Does anyone know if the current dye invision lenses are compatible with the dye i3 and pro goggles?

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I found with the goggle skins that if i was in a lower light situation, say at dusk or a real overcast day, it seemed to me like the colors started to run together. So if i was in a real green evnironment then everything would become a green blur and I had a real hard time picking up on anything. If it was a bright clear day then I really liked them. Didn't even know they were there. If I took a hit in the face then I would return to the safe zone and used a weed sprayer filled with water to "hose" off the lens and clean out the holes. Just be sure to use a brand new weed sprayer. You don't want to spray anything on your lenses or get roundup in your eye.

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

I like to use clear in the daytime, but towards the end of the day, i switch to my Thermal amber JT mask, it makes everything brighter, especially at nite... I know jt mask are ugly... I cut mine down so it is lower profile...

Re: Lens color you use in your mask.

Switch between smoke during the day and I run clear at night, though sometimes I get lazy and leave my smoke lenses in at night, that is quite the experience.

Yeah, I never understood that. DYE and Proto are the same company but why make it easier to remove the lens on the Proto and not the DYE masks? I love my DYE mask...not the amount that was paid but they're reliable and have not fogged on me yet(except for when I somehow got debris from the trees in it) even in some nasty humid weather.

Currently using a VForce Grill with clear lense.
Will be getting the PhotoChromatic as soon as it's released. Anybody got a date for it?
