modding this mask

how would you go about fixing the eyeholes on this mask to provide proper eye protection w/o destroying the look of this mask?

IE: no goggles over the front of it. maybe airsoft glasses under it?

Re: modding this mask

maybe try a regular paintball lens like a JT and cuting it to fit under the mask, you migh have to make hole in the mask to secure the lens to the mask, id like to see what ya come up with!
maybe a high speed cutting wheel would cut the lens good enough without cracking it

also you should make some breathing holes so it does fog up

Re: modding this mask

Sweet, man. Use a Dremel to cut some lenses up and then plastic weld.

i dont know if plastic weld is the best idea, cause what happens if lens get scractched? I would make holes around the eye holes and secure it will tiny bolts and nuts, that way it would be esy to change lenses, maybe get the metal spike that have holes in the back, it might add to the look a bit!

Cleric, if you actuall finish this, we gotta play together next summer!

Re: modding this mask

I would totally just leave it black. Especially if youre putting a shemagh over it. youd look like you have no face!

Re: modding this mask

IDK how you plan to attach the lense but i believe cutting it (the lense) "to fit" would break its integrity and make it more difficult to attach (right now, i couldnt think of any other way of attaching it securely other than tension points - bolt & screw, etc... glue would be too risky). I suggest you bolt the entire lense (vforce grillz modified with foam/padding around it would work pretty well i believe) behind the mask. Good Luck
and keep us updated.
