Mask Project Complete - Fan + Paint

My mask project is finally complete. I added two fans to defog my mask. Plus I spray painted it to compliment my multicam. It is by no means a multicam paintjob but I needed something to tone it down a bit so it wouldn't stick out so much. I think it turned out ok for my first time. Let me know what you guys think.

I mounted the fans in opposite directions so I have one blowing air in and one blowing air out. It creates some nice air flow.

I had to use the dremmel to get the fans to fit.

I also had to drill a hole for the switch. I soldered all of the connections but covered them with electrical tape for extra protection.

I ended up using some velcro to attach the battery. It is actually pretty solid.

I hope you guys like it. I'm hoping it works well in the scenario I have coming up in a few weeks.

No trouble installing them. Once I got the wiring figured out it was pretty easy. I just had to do some dremmel work to cut the mask so the fans would fit. I also had to cut some of the foam. If you have to cut your mask just go slow and take your time.

Re: Mask Project Complete - Fan + Paint

The fans look like they protrude quite a bit into the facial cavity. Do they hit your forehead at all? Also, how loud are they?
