Cutting A vForce Profiler

Does anyone have any tips or ideas for cutting the right side of a Profiler so it lines up with a red dot sight attached onto the A-5 with Lapco offset mount with an additional weaver mount? The mount im using is the diagonal one, not horizontal.

Re: Cutting A vForce Profiler

Please don't cut your Profiler, they are so pretty.

I just got mine yesterday, so I am still very careful with it.

So, what you are saying, is that you want to cut down your mask to get closer to the gun/sight? If you have a weaver rail and an offset, that should not be a problem...

More info?

Exactly.

That's what I thought, but in practice there is still a fair amount of mask-squashing required to see the red dot in the middle of the lens.

45mm, either by diameter of the lens, or diamater lens + frame.

Re: Cutting A vForce Profiler

Don't cut your mask. More is better. There are other ways to get sight alignment. What kind of stock do you have?

Re: Cutting A vForce Profiler

Well, I have seen a mod that replaces the rear hard sections of a mask with some thin but very sturdy foam over the ears. I think at SO or Tippmann forums.

Or buy a new flex mask.
