Vents anyone?

Anyone here use the Vents goggles? Just interested in hearing your experiences with them.

Thanks

Re: Vents anyone?

No, sorry I use the JT double lens. They do have lots of vents though. The only time they fogged up it was less than 25 degrees out. I ran around the perimeter of the sage brush field we were playing at and by the time I got there the foam in my mask was completely soaked. I think the combo of cold and hot made them fog.

I think he was referring to the actual Vents goggles made by the Empire brand name.

I have never played with them before; the Events were high on my list until I decided on a Profiler for my new mask, and I was looking at the Proto Cylus as a backup mask a week ago, but settled on a Morph.

Not many people in my area, if any, used the Events at the time I was planning on getting them (November 2006), so I decided against them due to lack of reliable experience.

Sorry I cannot be much more help. Try them on to see if you like them, and try to get first hand reviews (in person, no pbreview!) from people that have used them.

Re: Vents anyone?

I use the olive drab Vents Avatar, and quite frankly, they're the best goggles I've had to date. I would definately choose these over a Vforce Profiler (I've no experience with JT's.)

The lense has excellent peripheral vision. It takes a herculean effort to get the lense to fog. The lense is as easy to change as a Vforce's. Its extremely comfortable. Its so soft it almost feels as if you're not wearing anything on your face. The rubber face shielding is very flexible, giving you good cheek wield to a stock. You would think the rubber would be too soft to protect you, yet you can get blind sided in the side of the mask from 15ft away, and not even notice you've been hit if you didn't hear the sound.

Re: Vents anyone?

kill is 100% right .. i love my profilers and they are a great peice of equipment .. but as far as fogging they get pretty bad .. even in TX. but at Texas throwdown i bout a pair of avatars .. and they didnt fog at all .. it was about 30 degrees out .. and i didnt leave the feild for like 4 hours stright .. and i didnt fog at all.. but thats completely diferent with the profilers .. the profilers are betterfor summer play rather than winter .. or at least in my opinion

Re: Vents anyone?

Hey thanks for the info

Do you know if the Cylus and Helix are comparable to the Avatar?
