Re: New milsim marker from Opsgear.

To be completely honest I am the happiest I have been in years with my MILSIG markers, they shoot great, a breeze to work on, A5 fronts and stocks are interchangeable. Sometimes with a little Dremel work, but they will work.
They are well made to, the only service I have done is replacing some seals and orings, which is not uncommon on any marker.

I like to play pump paintball, mostly stock class, so the switch to magazines is nothing painful. If your worried about being outgunned, team up with someone who is a paint-slinger, use them for support.
I also carry a Tag8 pistol, just in case! Really it is a lot of fun running with a marker that is completely stand alone (Elite) No remote in the way is great. There is also a electronic grip and a box magazine coming out, so people who want more than the 18 round mags can have a SAW style marker.

The next marker the Paradigm should be released in November, (or at least debuted at the Fulda Gap game). It is a step up from the Elite.

Opsgear bought some from a middle man, at the last I knew they were sold out. The marker that they had/have is the Commando, Milsig Commando. They just didn't state who the maker was is all. No rebranding as such other companies do.

You could use some real steel forearms I would think, one of the guys in the UK put a Magpul stock on his, looks sharp.
Milsig has several different barrel kits with handguards, stocks, 5ounce and 13cui tank stocks, (like the 90gram stock on the elite) and a new barrel system coming out.
Lot of new ideas for 2009 I am told. I know the GM of MILSIG, he assures me that he has a new marker for 2009 that will make everyone wet themselves!

Sorry guys to ramble, but I really do like these markers and the customer service is top notch. If you get the chance to shoot one, do so they are a blast.

Re: New milsim marker from Opsgear.

I have seen the newest prototype boxmag, it is far nicer than the one in the video. Nelson is saying around 18bps on it. Should be fun.

MILSIG will become famous soon enough
Re: New milsim marker from Opsgear.

Just to Clarify things for everyone. OPSGEAR is NOT an authorized distributor / dealer of our products. They had a purchasing agent purchase the markers from our Taipei, Taiwan office and this said agent was a filthy liar who exported them without our consent.

Our official distributor in the USA is American Paintball Supply out of New York. Larry from Tactical Replicas is an authorized dealer / service center.

I've spoken to the people at OPSGEAR and I told them about my distaste with their business tactics. I don't mind having them sell our products, but they refuse to follow our pricing policy, and they don't even have the courtesy to list the brand, which is MILSIG!

I didn't think that OPSGEAR would scoop so low...needless to say, we won't be supplying them anymore. So if you want to get a MILSIG marker, go to someone else.

Re: New milsim marker from Opsgear.

This isn't the first time OPS has pissed on opportunities.
I know a few things they did to, but I will not get in to it.
I like their real weapon stuff, but I am not a fan of their paintball gear or marketing ploys.
