| Re: t8 vs t9 Yes.... What simmy was saying: If you want just a pistol, get the T8. If you want a pistol that can convert into a rifle (or, perhaps more appropriately, a carbine), get the T9. |

| So what exactly is the point of the T8 then? If the T9 is the same pistol but just upgradeable why not just sell base model T9's you can add on to? Does the T8 just have a smoother look? And can UMS's T8 Tactical race gun compensator fit a T9? Sorry for all the ? but Im looking to buy the T9 Elite St and was interested to see if the T8 had any advantages over the T9 as its main duty will be as a sidearm. ![]()

| Re: t8 vs t9 Well, the T8 came out first... The T9 was the second release. They probably hadn't yet considered the whole rife look upgrade thing when they created the T8. It's like asking: "What's the point of the 98c when you can buy an A-5?". People bought the 98c because the A-5 didn't exist yet. Sorry, no idea on the compensator though. | Re: t8 vs t9 The internals for the T9 is the same as the T8. Its just that the T9 comes in a riffle marker and can be switched to a pistol pretty easily. Altought as a pistol, the T9 is a little bigger than the T8, so it (T9) will not exatly fit in all the same holsters as the T8. Also note that alot of people in the T8OG forum traded in their T9 for to get a T8.... why???? ![]()
