I look forward to trying to pick one up. Is it possible that if I got a classic mag that I would just as easily upgrade it to a Tac One? just curious

If you can get that one at 350 plus 17 shipping it would be excellent.. really excellent.
And it has the ULT (ultra Light Trigger) Which is alone an upgrade of like 47 US at the AGD store.

Serioulsy.. he only ships to USA and I am un Canada.. if I was in the US I would buy it if it ends up at 350.. even if I already have one..

If you have a classic.. you can get the Level 10 bolt.. and the Xvalve.. and then the Tac-One Body.. and a trigger like the Tac-one.. so it would become a Tac-One yes..
but you must upgrade pretty much everything haha

Exemple
Xvalvle is like 200$ (Seen it for 200 used)
The Tac-One body is like 200$ (See it for 200 used)

So.. you might as well buy the tac-One right away haha

Only thing though is that eBay auction at $350... Reserve isn't met, so chances are the seller wants at least $400 for it.

But believe me when I say that an Automag is worth EVERY PENNY that you will pay for it!

I love mine and would never trade it for anything else.

yea, I am pricing my options of lately. I will probably try and see if i can test a Tac-one before i am truly sold. I just shelled out $360 for my TM-7 so another $470 for a new marker is a little steep at the moment

I hear ya. A good marker doesn't come cheap and I know for a fact that I've spent a lot on paintball-related purchases in the last year

An Emag can switch between electro and mechanical. An Xmag is an Emag with an interchangeable breech. An Emag use an ULE body that is either center feed or warp right/left. If I wanted to change the feed, I would have to change the whole body. An Xmag can change feeds just from changing the breech section. You do not have remove the whole body.

You are correct in that a Tac One is in a different league than a A5. They are fun to build. That is how I built my Emag. They just had a like new Xmag on ebay that brought over $1200. They are like owning a piece of paintball history. Shade has a nice Emag for sale at the moment. They are fun to shoot.
