Hey all...
I recently stumbled upon my first ever paintball gun, its a 1991 Feral Action Sports Technologies (F.A.S.T) F-1 Illustrator, just wondering if anyone knows where to get some technical Shematics for this particular gun, or if by some chance, anoyone knows what current aftermarket parts (Barrels, springs, etc.) will be accepted by this gun? I have done some searching but come up short, or maybe just looking in the wrong places.

I plan on doing a "Ressurection" Project on this gun and turning it into a modern mil-sim gun. I figure it would be a good project to do on my free time and would be nice to see if an old-school semi-auto can be brought back from the dead and keep up with todays high speed paint slingers.

because that's kind of a home brew marker, you best bet would be to look for someone else with one and see if they have a schematic, but a lot of those original markers didn't come with em. FAST is long gone, you might luck out and get a hold of the owners and talk to them. best of luck

yeah, I know someone once told me there is another marker out there that is almost Identical in every aspect as far as internals, etc. I just can't remember for the life of me what type of marker it was.

They share some parts with a Brass Eagle Raptor. Not exactly sure what. You may want to try over at MCB. Might find some parts/info for them there. You see them pop up for sale now and then on MCB.

yeah, I was trying to remember, thanks for that info there simmy, now I just gotta try to track down some of those parts or at least see what may work from current guns, I was thinking a lot of the RAP4 guns use a lot of old tech and parts that they try to pass off as new stuff, maybe I can get lucky there.
