So I was looking around Youtube today and I stumbled upon this paintball grenade launcher video. It seemed stupid but I visited the website that hosted it. It is called www.rap4.com

I was looking at the products that they have was amazed. They have paintball markers that look exactly like the real-steel markers that they are made to replicate. Imagine shooting an MP5 in a scenario game with no hopper or air tank to be in the way. Most of the guns that they cell use .40 caliber paintballs but I am sure that in a scenario those would be allowed as well.

They also have this really cool-looking pump shotgun that uses .68 caliber paintballs. Here it is: http://rap4.com/paintball/os/series-...1_158_337.html

So what do you guys think? I would definitely want to get one but they seem kinda pricey. You guys, though, seem really milsim so it would probably really appeal to a lot of you.

Most(almost all) fields do not allow the Rap4 Markers because of cost of the .40 and .43 paint and the velocity of the markers.Thay are pretty awsome though.T68 makes .68 mag fed markers

I've seen these before. The Tac68's are basically mag-fed A5's. The pump shotgun is supposed to be pretty crap, and the .40 caliber paintball ones aren't as reliable.

I know a guy who's got one. He says it's cool and all, but due to the rarity of the paint and being banned from most fields, he's looking into getting a "real marker", as he put it. I watched him chrono that thing once, and it's gotta be at about 400 fps to operate correctly. I've never been shot with it, but supposedly since the ball is smaller, it imparts the same force as a 68 caliber at 280 fps.

Yeah, the more mass it has the harder it will hit. That's why the rubber paintballs with ball bearings in the middle of them are so powerful.

From what I've read on Rap4 most people aren't happy with them.

The Rap4 markers are not worth the price. They are heavy and just not worth the price difference. Like Sandman said, not many people are happy with them. Maybe some of the diehard milsim but I would not want to carry one all day at a scenario event.

its far an between that you hear anything positive about grap4 most of there stuff you can get on other sites as low as 50% to what there asking , and as far as there markers . i have heard nothing but nightmare stories about the quality .i think there around because a lot of people don't know better.
