| Liquid Dimension Imaging - Sparta, Wisconsin ......is now a vendor for Midwest Custom Paintball. Greg at Liquid Dimension Imaging has gotten way too busy to deal in custom relations and continue doing the dipping process. We decided that I should start my own entity and he would solely do the dipping. So, for all of your hydro printing needs, please feel free to contact me at one of the following avenues: Neil Chittendon Midwest Custom Paintball midwestcustompaintball@live.com MySpace.com - Midwest Custom Paintball - 29 - Male - LA CROSSE, Wisconsin - www.myspace.com/midwestcustompaintball yahoo: nchittendon We are currently working on an official website, so stay tuned. There are some pics of what we do throughout the forums, but I will give you a bit of an explanation of what we do, and how we do it. We have a large tank.....basically the size of a small car. It is filled with water. We take the pieces to be coated, and media blast them. Once they are roughed up, we paint them with a base coat. After the base coat is applied and dried, we take the requested pattern and lay it on top of the water. The pattern is kind of like window tint material. Once the material hits the water, it starts to dissolve. We add a chemical promoter to the piece, and "roll" it into the water over the pattern. The pressure from the water pushes the pattern into all nooks and crannies and covers the whole piece. Once dry, the whole piece is clear coated with 1.5 coats of clear, and then left to dry. We are still working on pricing, but for parts like mask pieces, we are getting around $70 to apply the process to them. Hoppers are around $60. Again, we are still working on pricing. As far as your air tanks go, they need to have the expiration decal on them. We remove the decal, and re-apply it after the process is done. So far, this has been legal at every field I've been to. We can do most camouflage patterns, carbon fiber, wood grain, snake skin, marble, diamond plate, flames, flags, water droplets, etc..... Price List (7-1-08)
We are currently building a web-site with pics of everything, so I hope to have that up soon. Some pics of what we do: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() UPDATE: The JT Flex masks with visors are holding up GREAT! The visor is a "softer" material, and we had concerns as to how it would hold up in real game situations. I have test both the Multicam one and the MARPAT one and both are holding up nicely after many shots to the facemask at different distances. We are still unsure of the VForce Grill masks at this point. Hope to have definitive testing shortly.

Back on track, very good job. But I have to ask, have you ever botched a job (like horribly)? And if you have, what do you do to fix it? |
