For those who don't know what a SHEMAGH is, it is a traditional Arabian headdress used to protect the head, neck, and face from sand, dust, and sun. I believe Wolf here uses one and probably another member or two.

US Cav sells them for $11.99 and $19.99, but I will get them and sell them for probably someplace around $9-$10.... maybe a tad less. I am starting with Tan and OD first since I believe those colors will work best for the majority of players.

I will be taking my own pictures of the Shemaghs when they get in (in a couple days), but here is a stock picture to tide you all over for now...

NOTE: It is recommended to wash the Shemagh in cold water and air dry / tumble dry on low before wearing. Do not wash it with light color clothes for the first couple of times washing. This will help remove any excess dies and sizing chemicals from the fabrics and help prevent running.

I use a shemagh - great head cover, scarf, and weapon rag. I'd probably buy one from you, depending on your selection.

I sport one of your fine BanDu's. It is such a great product I really can't see myself wearing anything else. So I would have to say, No...I would not buy one.

I got a shemaugh from Full Clip. Pretty cool but if you sell them make sure to include some directions on how to use them as it's pretty vague how to use them if you haven't before.

Thanks guys. I actually created this thread before the other "Shemagh" thread in the Masks section of the forum. But it was not "posted" until now.

The news is YES, I am going to carry Shemaghs. I am starting out with OD and Tan (both have black patterns on them... the classic styles). I think those would be the most useful for our needs. I may expand from there.

And yes, I will provide instructions on the site for them. US Cav has one on YouTube that shows exactly how to tie them, so I will probably link directly to their YouTube video.

The folks in the other "shemagh" thread did the final convincing for me carrying these. A bunch of them are already spoken for.

As for those who prefer to use the Ban-du, hey, that is still my baby. So don't worry, it isn't going anywhere. I am just carrying the Shemaghs for a smaller niche market. I figure if I can swing it, why not.

I love mine - it keeps the paint from my neck and I also seem to be cooler on hot days!!!

how do you do the neck wrap thing in your avatar? just wrap it around, no tieing?

I've seen a few different styles of wearing it:
the full face view,
the eyes only,
a hood &
the wrap...

but can only find how to tie the hood
