Home made T2W stock adapter

This whole project started out when my wife kaibashed my plans to buy a TM7 (for now! hehehehe), saying that an A5 and an SP Epiphany were plenty enough for me. I wanted a marker that I could go full auto on. I had my Epiphany that could go full auto but it was too "SPACEY".....A search on spec ops revealed thier T2W stock but it was $ 80.00 !!!! and I wanted to use my Pro-Team FX2 Commando stock from my Spyder MR2 as I was very impressed with it. I figured I'd make an adapter using the concept from the SpecOps T2W stock. I had a co-workers husband cut some Aluminum stock for me and bought a foot long piece of Red Oak hand rail wood from Home Depot. I did the best I could having what tools I had; a small Dremel drill press, a mitre saw and a file.

take a look and leave some comments please. A Tactical Ion body is on the way to complete the look.

Lol I already had it. By itself it was about $ 80.00 that was part of the reason for making this.

Re: Home made T2W stock adapter

Good concept, how's the wrist clearance for gripping it?

And BTW, is that "Akite" or "Akira" on your hopper?

wrist clearance is good. I spaced it out first at different arm lengths to see how much contact my wrist made with the part.

i take it you read Japanese ? It reads Akira ! like the Anime

Re: Home made T2W stock adapter

I can read kana ( the picture and angle of the hopper made the last character a little fuzzy to read, ) but no I don't speak Japanese.

Re: Home made T2W stock adapter

thanks for the rep. ITs quite SOLID. The base plate is aluminum and the bulkier piece is Oak wood reinforced with JB weld !
