Proto Rail vs Invert Mini vs DP Fusion vs Epiphany

I'm looking for a best possible speedball gun within the $300-$400 range. I finally narrowed it down to the SP Epiphany, DP Fusion, an Invert Mini, and a Proto rail 2007. Can anyone tell me what would be the best choice? Thanks you.

Re: Proto Rail vs Invert Mini vs DP Fusion vs Epiphany

I'm not into speed ball,But after hanging around my local shop and listening to them and talking to them I would have to say the mini.Very light and fast.Plus no external hoses to worry about.I'm no expert, just my thoughts. If you had a couple grand I would say the new sl74 is the way to go.I just saw one at the shop(one of the guys just bought it)They are lighter than the mini and are super fast.No limit I believe.

Mini is my first choice with PMR close behind.

I have to go 100% with the mini. That was the marker that personaly was to get before I decided on the Blazer.
Which you really should look at, BTW.

Deff no on the Epiphany, it isnt worth the $$. I was looking at buying the DP Fusion too, but its not quite as mainstream and doesnt have all of the upgrades available to it yet. I really really wanted a ULed PMR for a long time, but thats just me. I have no idea on the Mini, I have heard l conflicting views on it.

Re: Proto Rail vs Invert Mini vs DP Fusion vs Epiphany

For speed ball out of the box, the Rail is a great marker. I've had mine since they first came out and I've really enjoyed it. 15 pbs to start and 25 easy with a few upgrades. I did change the trigger right away and the back cap to alluminum, but no other upgrades are even necessary, except that I'm buying an 8" brass barrel w/Apex because I love that combo. The Rail is very light weight and balanced, easy on batteries, medium on air use, and very accurate. I'm not sure about the others but I know you would not be dissappointed in this Proto marker. The 4 guys who own the rail at our field are all happy as well. Last point, it is very easy to maintain. Good luck in whatever you choose.

Re: Proto Rail vs Invert Mini vs DP Fusion vs Epiphany

I'd say no on the Invert Mini right now, it's way too new for it's complex design. If a leak happens or any problem happens at that, it wont be an easy fix but packed up in a box shipping out to Empire.

I say Rail with a new, stronger bolt. The stock bolt sucks and breaks.

Re: Proto Rail vs Invert Mini vs DP Fusion vs Epiphany

I like the mini since it is really tight and compact but since it's their first marker, I would wait for the second or updated version of the mini.
