As long as the .692 is about .02" bigger, it should be fine. If it was bigger, it would choke it down.

The Python thingy will also make it a lot longer. I don't recall the exact length, but it would make it at least 16" most likely.

It would be cool to say "I have a Venom barrel with a Python adapter", though.

Re: Stinger carbon fiber barrels

they offer a kit like barrel, with a bore reduction, so tip is .692 and base is .689. They made the bore that big so people can over bore, the vast majority of people will be fine with that. I shoot a .693 shaft2, the accuracy isn't perfect but its darn good, and i'd take that over perfect accuracy with breaks from defective balls and temp changes. they have details on the sight.

the prices are great, finish quality might be interesting, carbon fiber barrels are expensive because they are hard to make well, 32* previously had the cheapest, and those were good barrels, but they cut costs by the way they attached the carbon the the aluminium (might have been stainless my memory is failing me at the moment, finals loom in the near future )

Good catch on that barrel back pic on the top of their page, i would also still like some more. gosh these are cheap.

also surpised no body made a woody joke yet.

Re: Stinger carbon fiber barrels

Welcome Nitro. It is good to see a good product at a good price. I hope it works out well for you. Usually a fiber barrel needs a rubber squeegie.

Re: Stinger carbon fiber barrels

Very cool looking barrels. I like the plain black carbon weave, the silver flame and the realtree.

We need a distributor over here in Australia. <nudge> <wink>
