Re: Which type of barrel?

Pshhhhhhhhh I throw mine. Only problem, you can't chrono them cuz they go so fast! Fields outlawed me last year until i got a velocity adjuster in my arm, or if u want you can you get a rear adjuster that plugs in my but, (not recomended!!!)

Re: Which type of barrel?

That may be twigz, but I am not going near the adjusting tool.

For simplicity, I use the J&J ceramic. I have owned an Apex. It was OK but was just to much to take apart and clean. I also have an Armson on my backup Ion. It is quiet and is pretty accurate. I don't know which one I would recommend. The both are on equal terms. I cannot see my buying a flatline because of the hassle of cleaning and being that they are paint picky.

Re: Which type of barrel?

I've been using the straight rifled barrels with better then normal results. Most people misunderstand what there supposed to actually do. They keep the ball from spinning or rolling giving it a more stable flight. Kinda like an anti flatline barrel. I still have one on my PMI Traccer. I wonder if thats why I always make those nasty headshots lol.

Re: Which type of barrel?

hey, i run with a j&j. on both my a-5 and my 98 c. i also have the armson
stealth 16" rifled , which in its own rights, is also a great barrel.. over the years I've owned countless barrels, but i seem to always revert back to the
j&j ceramic. simple design, great accuracy, ability to shoot thru the occasional break. all around great barrel.

Re: Which type of barrel?

I would have to say that I have pay mostly with my normal barrels: lapco bigshot(s), and ops gear barrels. I also use a thunder pig that has the straight rifling. I have a flatline that stays on the 'heavy' rig.

each barrel is just a tool in the box!

Re: Which type of barrel?

Y'all have got it all wrong. The best way to propel a paintball is to put it in the tip of a hollowpoint JCS F-69 and then launch it out of one of these or one of these.
