| Re: APEX settings? When I use my apex I use 3-4 most the time also. Gives a flatline effect or is supposed to I really couldn't tell. And for farther shots I turn it up all the way. But when you do that the ball will shoot almost straight up after it travels so far kinda krazy. I don't think it very practical and I don't believe I got anyone out using the 8th setting. When I was interested in the apex before I had one I was sure someone had did some kind of test using all the settings. But I couldn't find one.

| Re: APEX settings? Found this on a review The Apex has several "levels" (8 clicks/positions to be exact)from which to select/adjust from. Position 2-3 is equal in distance to the Flatline but is more accurate. Position 4-5 gives about 30-50 more distance and also retains incredible accuracy. Posistion 6-7 gives EVEN more DISTANCE, but accuracy starts to drift off. Position 8 aka "Super Flatline" gives the greatest Distance hope it helps |

| Re: APEX settings? I have mine set at 4. It's a happy medium. The 8 has a rediculous reverse arc like everyone is saying. It dips way down and comes up. You should be happy at 3-4. ![]()

| Re: APEX settings? after messing around with mine I would have to agree that around the middle level is best. At 8 its just crazy the distance it gets but when i watch it fly even if it hit someone i don't really see it breaking. it kinda just floats after a while. but was fun to mess around with and showing people what it can do

| Re: APEX settings? I love the last setting, if you set it up right, they never see the paintball coming. always aim for their mask or marker so it break at that distance. most of the time if I'm facing another player and he knows I'm too far, I'd put the setting to 1 and try to lob it, that same guy would come out of cover thinking i can't hit them, then I set it to the last one and take about 5 shots. I've been pretty lucky as it seems to be hitting their mask and markers. sometimes even hitting a hard surface won't break the paintball, but I always find it funny when they get hit. |
