Question J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

I just got home and my kit is here. The question is about the orings. There is no orings i can see so far in the barrels as per the inside and outside. So where do they go since they seem very small also. Anyone knows about this? Thanks

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

One o-ring goes on each of the barrel fronts above the threading. You'll see a groove there for them.

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

There should be one black o-ring around the base of each tip to help seat the tip to the back when screwed together.

Edit: Yeah, what VVulfe said.

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

IIRC the o-rings are standard tank o-rings.

I just checked and JSB is right. They are the same size as tank o-rings. But the ones that come with the barrel kit are not as hard (lower durometer), so they stretch more.

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

I have another question. I matched the paint on the backs and the best match for it out of all of the backs for the paint im using is the .685 and still the paint rolls right out of the barrel.

I tried the .682 but it gets stuck not inside the barrel because is to small for the ball to fit in but stays in the threads and it cannot go in the barrel.

So im guessing im somewhere around .683 or .684 most likely .684.

Any advice is this normal or am I actually supposed to be like people say that you blow the paintball out the barrel. This is not my case, also is better then having a .690 brass which is way bigger but i just wanted to ask. Thanks

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

Sounds like that paint is in between bore sizes. If you can't blow it out with a good puff, then either:
1) use the next larger size or
2)
just before you play, leave the bag of paint in a warm car for a bit to make it swell slightly and then rematch the bore size.

Re: J&J Edge Elite Kit Question

Yeah is definetly in between bore sizes, I think i like the idea of leaving it in the car for a little so it swells up. Specially since I live in Miami. Thanks guseppe16
