| Re: BT Apex AK-47 barrel questions . . . to be honest, the stock barrel that comes with the regular apex might be the only barrel to beat the stock a-5 barrel in inaccuracy. i can't speak of the one on the kit you speak of, but the regular apex is pretty horrible with no spin on it. gets better on the first few clicks but decreases as you get past the flatline stage and into the superflatline range... altho... the range is amazing! the statement that they don't break at long range is not true. good paint will break and most people just don't realize that they've been hit when they get hit by one... |

| Re: BT Apex AK-47 barrel questions . . . Hey Spartan. Thanks for the reply. I have heard that the barrel on the stock Apex (non-AK47 version) is pretty dodgy, and that's why people are swapping them over for the Lapco or the J&J Ceramic ones which make massive improvements, or so i'm told. The Reason i'm after the AK47 one is because I want the milsim look as well as the function of the Apex. Not sure at this stage, but if the stock Apex AK47 barrel can't be swapped out, i'll probably just end up having to run a Brillo with some polishing compound or something similar through the stock AK barrel a couple hundred times in order to get it as smooth as possible. Appreciate the input Spartan. ![]()
