Re: What kit do you prefer?

tried stiffi, hammerhead, and JJ kits.

My favorite was the hammerhead (the only barrel I use now). It is extremely accurate, pretty quite, and very light (weighs 4.5 oz, the stiffi weighed 2.5 oz). The JJ was my 2nd fav, by far the best bang for th buck. I wasnt too impressed by the stiffi, accuracy was ok, couldnt swab it, and wasnt black.

Re: What kit do you prefer?

If I had stacks of cash lying around, i'd probably buy the Hammerhead kit. But for less than half the price you can get the J&J Edge Elite kit whose performance is up there with the best of them. Plus with the J&JEE kit you get 3 fronts instead of 1.

Bang for buck wins every time in my books.

Re: What kit do you prefer?

All relys on personal preference my friend. The best for the price is by far JJ, anybody can tell you is very good and accurate and still relatively cheap.

Now there are no best since a study hasnt been made with all this kits to prove which one is best.

All you will get is personal preference on what people have used so far, some people might even tell you that jj is the best and thats the only one they have tried because they conform themselves with just that.

Its all preference my friend ;-)

Re: What kit do you prefer?

I have used a J&J and a CCM carbon fiber kit. I now use a Python compression system. I can use any barrel I want and still get sizing. It is also cheaper than most kits. Just my .02 worth. One big plus is that I do not have to buy a new kit whenever I want to use ait on another marker. All I need is a different sleeve for the sizers. Works very well for me.
