Re: lapco bigshot or jj ceramic

Man you will see people here telling you a million different things because when it comes to barrels its mostly personal preference. So my suggestion is see if you can try any of the 2 and even better if you can try both and then decide.

As far as me, i just bought a jj edge elite kit and is awesome, have a brass which is also pretty damn good. Have a friend who has a 16 jj with an apex and i am impressed. So once again people will tell you different things which you will probably end up being even more confused. Anyways take your pick, icant tell you about the lapco since i havent used it.

Re: lapco bigshot or jj ceramic

I have had both. Both are good barrels. The Lapco will be a little louder. My preference is the 8". Nice and tight and veryy accurate for a short barrel. J&J offers some self cleaning and for the money cannot be beat. It really is your personal preference that makes the choice.

I too have had both. Back in 2000 I bought a 14" J&J ceramic for my first 98. I still have it It's the only thing I still have from my original set up. 30 plus markers, 7 vests, 20 some barrels, and ump-teen sets of camos, later and I still have the J&J. Used it last weekend too.

Re: lapco bigshot or jj ceramic

I don't own either, but from the amount of chatter on here about the J&J's, i'd be going with them. Great value for money with the Edge Elite kit. 5 backs, 3 fronts, what more could you ask for?

Re: lapco bigshot or jj ceramic

Thanks for the input I'm gonna go with the 14" jj ceramic, I hear nothing but goods things about them and their pretty cheap compared to others barrels I looked at.
