Battle Shroud Screws Loose

I have a Flatline Battle shroud that I never put into a game. So I have been dry & live shooting for a couple of weeks now in order to tweak my Male stab & flatline.

I noticed that ALL, I mean ALL of the screws came off the the rails. I had to pick up all of the small black screws but I am missing one.

My question is should I go out and buy different screws or tighten them with some of the wifes nail polish.

I learned the trick with my glasses, the screws never come out. Just put some of the polish on the screws before you put them in.

Q? Will I ever need to take out the screws for a future mod or attachment?
The answers to the above question should bring me to my solution.

FYI- The picture shows silver screws but mine are black.

Re: Battle Shroud Screws Loose

Blue Loctite should do the trick, and is broken simply with pressure from your hex-key should you need to remove them.

Just be sure it's blue and not red Loctite you're using. Red needs to be heated to something like 250 degrees to break it.

Can I walk into a store and buy this? HomeDepot or something?

Re: Battle Shroud Screws Loose

Yup. Home Depot, your local hardware store, etc.

One drop per screw is quite enough.

Thanks man...big help.

I'm going to put my marker to the test this weekend. I will post some pic of it next week.
