98 Thread = A5 Thread?

Just wondering, can i use a 98c threaded barrel on an A5?

98's ahve a thicker/shorter thread pitch that the A5. Like mentioned, an adapter will be need to use 98 barrels on the A5.

Also remember that there is a different thread pitch between the Model 98 and the Model 98C.

i have the lapco adapter and it's lame! i have to put teflon tape under the barrel oring and on the threads to keep the barrel in the adapter. then i have to put teflon tape on the adapter to keep it in the a5. i'd like to try the jcs. i went with lapco cause it was made in the US. but jcs is too, maybe the jcs is better quality.
