| Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel I have a question. I am new to this whole hammerhead movement. I see the new tippman barrel is 16". If I go to the hammerhead site, there bangstixx barrel is 16". Does that mean the barrel is 14" with a 2 " fin? As well, I see people saying they are shooting a hammerhead 14". So is this what I am talking about above? Or is there a 14" (including fin) and a 16" including fin? It sounds like from what people are saying, that there is NO performance difference between the newer tippmann barrel and the Hammerhead BangStixx barrel? I am considering picking up one of these barrels. I am currently shooting a Freak Jr. kit with 3 inserts. Any information would be much appreciated. LASTLY! Where do you buy the tippmann barrels? I presume they're going to be backordered forrrrrrrrrrrrever! Maybe it's worth my while if I decide to go with this system, to just skip the wait and pick up a hammerhead from their site?(Unless there are any other online retailers that offer them for cheaper) |

| Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel i have a question. What puzzles me is with all the barrel articles on efficiency, accuracy, and barrel length. I was wondering how is it that the hammerhead barrels are so accurate with just a 2inch control bore. When many articles say a paintball needs at least 8-10 to be efficient and reach maximum velocity. |
