I got a Straightline a couple weeks ago and it works great. The accuracy is much better than my freely given 14" Zero Gravity barrel and MUCH MUCH better than my ball chopping inaccurate RAP4 16" barrel. <-- if you ever want to see your paint zigzag through a treeline then get the RAP4 barrel.

I've only tested the barrel with MONSTER paint I got at WalMart - $20 for 2000 balls O.o - I really want to use some more renowned paint for it but it is already a nice consistant shot with cheap paint too

Well I was the first Canadian to get a Straightline from a dealer, and i'm moderately satisfied with it. I've only used it with the relatively cheap paint that the field made our markers choke down but it did perform just as well as my bigshot and sometimes better, putting a few sequential shots in exactly the same place.

It looks cool, if not a bit long for some people's liking.

And I suppose that Tippmann is finally very confident that rifling does something for paintball accuracy. They wouldn't sell it if it didn't work, with their reputation for quality and such. Hopefully this will put an end to all of those rifling debates once and for all.

And that's ok... there will be debates everywhere and for everything.

The important thing is.. does it work for you?

If some all mighty person with the all mighty ''truth'' comes down and says '' Riffling paintball barrels does not do anything''
Well I would say... I don't care.. it works for me and that's the importance
So even if the riffling of the barrel does not work.... well the barrel is still very accurate.. and in my mind... that's all that counts

They will always be debates between people.. just don't have a debate within yourself.. because then you will dought your barrel and it will seem to not work as well
