Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel

Why can't tippmann come out with new ideas of their own?
They just get worse and worse!

Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel

They didn't "develop" anything, they are just rebranding what hammerhead already has so they can make more money.
Same with their "new" pistol.

Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel

well, Im sorry but that is incorrect. They went with a technology HH created, and did some mods to the characteristics.

As far as the new pistol, you have nothing beyond what has already been posted to validate any accusation you may have.

I have some knowlage on both the pistol AND the barrel, as I am in conversation with both Tippy AND HH at least 2-3 times a week.

Well then if your in the know I won't argue with you but from what has been released there isn't anything to get excited about, just smoke and mirrors.

BTW - most of us used the .686 or .688 fin that came with the kit.

Plus, did you have any trouble with breaks at that fps? what paint were you using with the straightline? these I think are also factors in the accuracy of the barrel.

Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel

Well, I'd surely hope he cranked the FPS back down after the initial jump :/

Re: New Tippmann/Hammerhead Barrel

Ya he wouldve, otherwise he wouldve been smashing paint and hurtin ppl bad.

But what kind of paint have ppl been using through this? Also, do you think that 3 sizers will be enough? I think you would need at least 4. what size iz the barrel? and can you put the barrel str8 on without the inserts?
